Life as a Surrey Engagement Photographer means you get to meet some really cool people. I met this couple on a sunny afternoon and everyone was in good spirits. The Engagement Photoshoot turned out to be a lot of fun. The location for the shoot was the future brides parents house in leafy Surrey near Leatherhead. They has a wonderful house with a really well looked after garden, the perfect place for a cosy photoshoot.
The couple were very natural in front of the camera, and are a very photogenic couple. The light on the day was very soft and flattering to the skin, so the first thing I did was take them outside to get some informal engagement photos in the garden. Once we completed this, we moved inside to get interior shots. As it was cloudy outside, there was not enough light penetrating the room to use natural light so I turned to my trusty off camera strobes to create some cool lighting effects.
