Engagement Photoshoot Pembroke Lodge
I thoroughly enjoyed doing an Engagement Photoshoot Pembroke Lodge last weekend. I was so happy to be doing this photoshoot because this was our second attempt at getting these photos. The first attempt had to be called off on account of the terrible weather. To say the heavens opened was an understatement. The sky was black with heavy rain clouds that were doing their best to interrupt the photo shoot. The couple were great and decided to soldier on through the poor weather. They had a great attitude and decided fun and laughter was the best way to overcome the terrible weather. Trying to smile when you are cold and wet is not easy!
The grounds of Pembroke lodge was where we did the shoot. We were also scouting for the best locations and backdrops to do the wedding photos in a few weeks time. The views over the Surrey hills were nowhere to be seen through the dark clouds, so we decided to use the main building and gardens as backdrops. This was successful for two reasons. It gave us shelter from the rain, and a chance to get the photos we were after. Hopefully we will have clear skies on the wedding day.
Despite the weather we all had a fun time. It did make me think think how lucky those photographers in California are, with beautiful sunny conditions all the time. My Engagement Photoshoot Pembroke Lodge on the other hand was wet and cold!
Thanks guys for a fun day and sorry I couldn’t have arranged some better weather for you.
