Surrey Downs Golf Club Wedding Photographer

From the first time I met J and S, I knew they were going to have a great wedding. I feel the reason for their successful wedding is the meticulous planning they put into their wedding. As a wedding photographer, I regularly see stats on the average wedding in the UK, and one statistic is the the average wedding takes 250 hours of planning. I’m sure this couple did way over this amount!!!! They were both very organised and great communicators, this allowed me to understand the essence of their wedding and the important things to the couple. With this information,  tied to capture these important things for them, to make their wedding photos truly reflect their wedding day.

The day started with bridal preparation at the brides house. She had made sure the room was cleared and only the people who needed to be there were there. This made for a very calm relaxed environment, and allowed me to capture some great moments using a photojournalistic reportage style of photography.

The Ceremony took place at St Patrick’s Church in Wallington, a very pretty church with great backdrops both inside and outside. I particularly like the photo of the wedding party walking towards the camera. From here everyone moved to the wedding reception at Surrey Downs Golf Club in Kingswood. We got some fantastic Contemporary photos on the golf course, overlooking the Surrey hills, as well as some fun ones with the bride driving the golf buggy!!

The venue did a fantastic job with the catering, and the groom got the traditional amount of abuse from the best man. The Dancing, cake cutting and partying continued into the night. It really was a fun wedding.
