Wedding Photos Pembroke Lodge Richmond Park

This Wedding turned out to be a fantastically sunny winters day. I received a phone call the day before the wedding for the bride, very concerned about the weather, and quite rightly so, as the snow was lashing down and it looked absolutely horrid outside. Someone must have been making please to our maker, as the morning of the wedding produced bright sun and snow covering the ground.

The Bride was remarkably calm during the bridal preparation photos. The room was a bit too small for all the people that were in there, but despite this she was very upbeat and excited about getting married. The hair and makeup photos came out very well indeed. The Groom arrived with his best man and ushers and we did some cool wedding portraits around the Pembroke Lodge grounds and gardens. The light was fantastic, but it was very cold, so I had to be very fast in taking the photographs.

The Ceremony was fantastic. The Belvedere room was arranged in a red colour scheme the staff at Pembroke Lodge had done a fantastic job. The happy couple were very smiley people throughout the ceremony and were a pleasure to photograph.

The formal shots were taken outside overlooking a beautiful view across Richmond Park and greater London. Again because of the extreme cold, we had to work very quickly to get all the wedding photos completed so people could go inside to warm up a little. The bride and groom bravely continued in the cold and we got some fantastic contemporary wedding shots outside the front of the building.

After the wedding breakfast, the speeches were well presented with the groom receiving a fair amount of traditional teasing from the best man. The wedding couple danced beautifully, again providing a great opportunity for photographs.

Thank you again guys for having me as your wedding photographer. I had a wonderful day today at your wedding and I got great pleasure out of photographing your special day for you. I wish you all the best for your life together as husband and wife.
